The Khemka Forum on Social Entrepreneurship is a hub that connects social entrepreneurs, thought leaders, investors, philanthropists, and other like-minded professionals who are looking to create sustainable innovative solutions for large-scale social impact. The Forum creates platforms that give a common voice, strengthen institutions, motivate leadership, and encourage new partnerships and collaborations.
The 5th Annual Khemka Forum on Social Entrepreneurship will be held on 6 & 7 December 2013 at the Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad, India and will explore the 3 Cs of Social Entrepreneurship in India: Culture, Context and Collaboration. India is recognized as a great social entrepreneurial hub given the size of the country, the complexity of social issues, the history, regional disparities, and our vibrant democracy. India serves as a rich fertile ground where innovative ideas and solutions work in tandem with market forces, addressing some of our most pressing social challenges. At this year's Forum we would like to explore the factors that have impacted the growth of social enterprises in India – we attempt to understand the role that India's culture and contextual realities have played in developing these social businesses, and we focus on the importance of collaborating and working together in an effort to make a sustainable, widespread impact on the people.
